Now celebrating its third year of business, local communications agency Circus Media – which offers services in public relations, digital marketing, content creation and design – has started 2018 with a bang.

January saw the team move into their stunning new office space in Newtown before director Carly and senior account manager Emily jetted off to the US for the annual Social Media Examiner Social Media Marketing World Conference. Highlights included keynote presentations from Guy Kawasaki, one of the original marketers of the Macintosh computer, and Brian Solis, the man who invented the hashtag.

The agency has also signed a number of exciting new clients – including Murphy’s Geelong, who will launch their epic new rooftop in the coming weeks – and continues to work with current clients to deliver innovative communication campaigns – including the inaugural Pinot Affair event by Wine Geelong, slated for May 27.

As Deakin alumni, both Carly and Emily continue to support their alma mater by regularly speaking to PR and communications students, and most recently Circus Media formalised an internship program with the university to host interns all year round. Current intern Elli’s first day consisted of shooting a segment for Channel 9’s Postcards with Bec Judd.

If all of that wasn’t enough, Carly also mentors other business owners, manages two of the most sought-after social media influencers in the country, was recently appointed to the board of directors for the Geelong Community Foundation, is studying a Master of Business Administration specialising in marketing, and most importantly, is mum to two young children.
