Leura Park Estate’s “Winter Warmer Luncheons” have returned, with the iconic winery offering a winter pick-me-up on Thursdays and Fridays. Escape the July chill and cosy up by the fire over a two-course meal complete with your favourite wines. Choose from two of Chef Hutch’s favourite winter mains of the week before indulging in a house made dessert. Leura Park’s Winter Warm Luncheons menu changes daily. Cost is $25 per person (food only). PAINT YOUR MATE

Release your inner artist at National Hotel Geelong’s “Paint Your Mate” event this Saturday. Hosted by Paint Like Picasso, the fun-filled afternoon requires no creative experience. Sit across from your mate and follow along as

NEW ARTWORKS IN QUEENSCLIFF

Queenscliff Gallery and Workshop is marking the end of winter with a new exhibition titled Out of Slumber this July. The collection of works – ranging from the kaleidoscopic and abstract to the everyday – brings together paintings and works on paper from over 10 Australian artists in a celebration of movement, growth, new life and colour. Out of Slumber opened last week and will be exhibited at the gallery until September 15. Queenscliff Gallery is located at 81 Hesse Street, Queenscliff, and is open from 10am-5pm on Sundays.
