Foundation celebrates 10 years

November 23, 2017 BY

The Cotton On Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary last Thursday with a photographic exhibition at the Cotton On head office to celebrate.

The exhibition featured some of the most iconic and inspirational images captured across four of the foundation’s project regions, including the Northern Territory, South Africa, Thailand and Uganda. Guests were able to purchase images with all proceeds going to the Cotton On Foundation and its projects. In November 2007, the Mannya Village, Uganda was rife with HIV.

What started as a simple Cotton On donation to fund a healthcare centre there became the Cotton On Foundation. Over the 10 years the Foundation has supported 16 schools and 261 teachers in Southern Uganda, installed six 260,000-litre rainwater tanks, sponsored more than 1,600 children and expanded their community work.
