Issi Dye returns to the Potato Shed this weekend with his latest hit-packed show, Aussie Music Gold: Greatest Hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s.

With a career that spans more than 55 years, Dye is one of Australia’s most loved and celebrated cabaret stars.

From the small screen to stages across the world, he has worked with the greats including Roy Orbison, Ray Charles and the Beach Boys.

It is his work with Australian legends including Normie Rowe, Brian Cadd and Colleen Hewitt that forms the basis of Aussie Music Gold, Dye’s homage to and celebration of Australian music from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

Featuring Bobby & Laurie (I Belong With You); Col Joye (Bye Bye Baby); Normie Rowe (Shakin’ All Over); Olivia Newtown-John (Let Me Be There) and the Wild One himself, Johnny O’Keefe (I’m Counting on You, Sing Sing Sing and Shout), Dye will also belt out his classic hits (One Last Kiss and Personality).

The show will be sure to have the audience tapping their feet and singing along as Dye takes them on a musical journey to the shores of past hurrahs.

Aussie Music Gold: Greatest Hits of the 60s, 70s and 80s will be performed at the Potato Shed, Drysdale, on Saturday, June 26 at 8pm.
