Luke’s looking for love

Will Luke find love on MAFS?

A fly-in fly-out worker and maintenance supervisor from Armstrong Creek is thrusting himself into a controversial social experiment in search of “the one”.

Luke will walk down the aisle for season seven of Nine Network’s Married at First Sight without any idea of who is waiting for him on the other side. The 39-year-old single father of two has struggled to find time to date in fatherhood.

Married for 10 years to the mother of his teenage girls, Luke became a dad at 21 before he and his wife “grew apart”. No stranger to heartbreak, his last relationship ended nearly five years ago.

After meeting online, they were together for two years before she left him for his neighbour.

But Luke’s diving heart first into what could be the rest of his life by trusting relationship experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and neuropsychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford who will together attempt to match him with the woman of his dreams.

Ten brides and 10 grooms from across Australia will be put under the microscope when they meet for the first time on their wedding day.

Every couple will live together under the same roof, compare their experiences and ups and downs at dinner parties, and bare all to the group each week when they choose whether to “stay” or “leave”.

Married at First Sight will air on Monday, February 3.
