Singing plumber’s got Good Pipes

January 29, 2018 BY

Local Queenscliff personality David Golightly, known as the Singing Plumber, has been invited back to 360Q for a performance on February 3.

After overwhelming demand and a successful show in winter last year, David will be back singing the classics from the three kings of music – Frank Sinatra, Elvis and Neil Diamond.

David, wearing his trademark gold jacket, is a one-man show, operating recorded music to accompany his songs.

Owner of 360Q Barry Iddles is looking forward to another fun night with David on the mic.

“We host entertainment nights often and last time we had David in, everyone had a lot of fun,” he said.

“It will be the hot rod weekend in Queenscliff too, so we find a lot of locals and visitors dress up in ‘50s clothing which is very fitting for the evening’s theme.

“I think someone said last time David was a better singer than a plumber! It’s all in good fun, though, and I encourage everyone to book tickets as soon as possible.”

Tickets are $65 for a three-course, sit-down dinner with entertainment and drinks at bar prices and the stunning views are free.

To book, head to trybooking.com and search “David Golightly”.

With views of the water, 360Q is located at 2 Wharf Street, Queenscliff and can cater for small and large groups for all manner of functions from birthday parties, anniversaries to engagement functions and wedding receptions.
