company “Strut & Fret” has announced its inaugural season of the Spiegeltent Geelong, presenting a world-class lineup of cabaret, comedy and music at the city’s iconic Johnstone Park.
Scheduled for May 30 until June 23, the season is headlined by the award-winning “Limbo”. The talented mix of cabaret, circus and acrobatics – which is led by an international cast – has wowed audiences around the world.
Scott Maidment, director of Strut & Fret and Limbo, said the company is thrilled to be showcasing its renowned entertainment production to Geelong.
“We are super excited to bring Limbo and the Spiegeltent to Geelong,” he said.
“It’s been quite a few years in the making and we think its new home at Johnstone Park will be the perfect place to enjoy this special event; hopefully for years to come.”
Presented in the breathtaking Aurora Spiegeltent, Limbo keeps audience members on the edge of their seat through unbelievable contortion, intoxicating acrobatics and jaw-dropping stunts.
Touring some of the world’s most famous destinations including London, Munich, Auckland, Adelaide, Bogota and Brussels, Limbo has entertained popstar Madonna on two separate occasions.
The full 2019 program will also feature some of Australia’s biggest touring artists, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
