February 27, 2019 BY

Musician Barb Noelker is a returning favourite performer at the Aireys Inlet Market. produce.

THE last installment of the Aireys Inlet Twilight Market series on February 10 closed a highly successful season of markets, bringing in record crowds of up to 4,000 people and featuring more than 140 stalls of homegrown and handmade delights across the holiday period.

With support from community organisations including Aireys Inlet Rural Australians for Refugees (AIRAR), Repair Café, Great Ocean Road Coastal Committee and Barwon Water, the summer event saw the community unite.

Organiser Libby Stapleton said the feedback from stallholders and visitors alike has inspired the event to return to the summer 19-20 calendar.

“The whole summer has been amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better crowds.

“The vibe was fantastic at all our summer markets and it has been a terrific event for the local community.”

While the twilight market series is over, regular markets continue. The next Aireys Inlet Market is on March 10.
