COMMUNITY members are encouraged to connect and learn more about their fantastic local groups at the Bellarine Fair in Drydale on Saturday (November 16).

The event will bring more than 20 community organisations all together under the one roof at the Boronggook Drysdale Library.

Bellarine North Rotary, Clifton Springs Men’s Shed, EdConnect, Bellarine Community Support, Drysdale Day VIEW Club and Springdale Community Garden are among the groups to be showcasing its offering.

The Bellarine Fair will bring more than 20 local community organisations together under the one roof at the Boronggook Drysdale Library.

Attendees will have the chance to ask any questions, meet new people and discover the many ways community members contribute to the Bellarine in their own way.

Geelong Regional Libraries chief executive officer Vanessa Schernickau said the unique event promised to be a family friendly fun day all round.

“Our libraries are more than just places to borrow books—they serve as important

community hubs where local connections can flourish.

“The Bellarine Fair is a perfect example of how libraries bring people together to strengthen community ties and support local organisations.

“Whether you’re new to the area or a longstanding resident, discover more about your local community groups and how to get involved.”

The Bellarine Fair is free to attend and will run from 10-2pm.

No bookings are required.
