SERVICES Australia has announced changes to payment schedules and service availability for the Easter holidays and Anzac Day.

The agency’s service centres and most phone lines will be closed on Good Friday (March 29), Easter Monday (April 1), and Anzac Day (Tuesday, April 25).

General manager Hank Jongen said it was important for customers to be aware of potential changes to their reporting and payment dates during this period.

“It’s important to know you may need to report income early.

“Your Centrelink online account will show your new reporting date for the Easter reporting period.

“If you don’t have to report to get your payment, we may pay you early.

Mr Jongen said customers can use the regular self-service options throughout the holidays.

“Our online accounts, phone self-service lines and Express Plus mobile apps will be available,” Mr Jongen said.

“You can still claim Medicare benefits at the doctor’s and register as an organ donor online.

“We will continue to provide critical Medicare services for health professionals over the holidays.”
