GEELONG’S Amazing Mill Markets are holding an Easter Extravaganza tomorrow (Saturday, March 30).

The free community event provides entertainment for the whole family, with a petting zoo, competitions, face painting, live music and more.

The Easter Bunny will also be making a special appearance with free Easter eggs for everybody.

$5,000 worth of prizes will also be up for grabs including gift vouchers and Easter hampers donated by owner Mark Ward.

Attendees will have the opportunity to win $5,000 worth of prizes, including Easter hampers.

The Amazing Mill Markets manager Tim Johnson said he is looking forward to seeing crowds at the markets.

“It’s just nice to get the community together, a lot of our customers look forward to these events.

“A lot of them tell us that it’s the best time of the month when we have an event on, so it’s good to just give back to the community and see everyone happy.”

Following Covid, the market is just starting to get their events back up and running, holding a Halloween Fright night and a Christmas event last year.

The Halloween event attracted a crowd of about 4,000 people, with similar numbers expected for their Easter event.

As part of the entertainment, an egg and spoon race will be held.

Mr Johnson said the event was all inclusive and everybody was welcome.

“Just turn up with a smile on your face and you’ll get a bag of Easter eggs and hopefully win a prize.

“All the events are sponsored by our owner, Mark Ward, he donates all the prizes and it’s very generous of him to let us do these things.”

The café will also be open, serving Easter treat across the entire day and attendees can browse the markets.

The event will run from 12 noon until 4pm on Easter Saturday.
