Great Ocean Properties finalises record Juc sale
AFTER being marked “under offer” two weeks ago, Great Ocean Properties director Marty Maher is confirming that the record sale of 2 Ocean Boulevard Jan Juc has been finalised.
“It’s a fantastic result for our vendors and for the Surf Coast property market in general,” he said.
“We believe it is a new record for a Surf Coast residential property and deservedly so, it is a truly iconic property and worthy of the record sale price.
“Although the final price is undisclosed, we can confirm that it sold within the $5,250,000- $5,750,000 advertised price range.”
The property has been sold to a buyer who already has a property in the area.
“It’s a very common theme with all the premium properties that we sell along the coast that they are sold to people who are trading up from an existing property.
This is simply because they have proven to themselves that they love the area and have the confidence to proceed.”
For Great Ocean Properties, it is the fourth time they have set a record price in Jan Juc, with the last being the sale of 8 Rip View Close Jan Juc which is now on the public record as selling at $4.2 million in March 2018.
“We are very proud of our ability to consistently produce these record results.
The key factor is developing a strong relationship with our vendors and working through each part of the process with clarity around what we are trying to achieve.
There needs to be significant trust on both sides.
“What we are seeing are buyers who have the capability of acting continuing to pursue good opportunities.”
