ANGLESEA welcomed the launch of its inaugural Green Living Festival on April 13, celebrating the prospect of a sustainable future for the town.

Sponsored by the Surf Coast Shire, mayor Rose Hodge was in attendance among Shire councillors including Margot Smith. Television personality Vasili Kanidiadis, Geelong Sustainability president Vicki Perrett and Anglesea Primary students also attended the festival’s debut.

The event featured interactive workshops, ecoliving displays, special guest lectures and children’s activities.

“What a great day Saturday was. Thank you to everyone who joined as at the Green Living Festival on the weekend. We hope you had just as much fun as we did!” a Facebook post published by the festival read.
