THE Combined Probus Club of Queenscliffe recently held its 28th annual general meeting, with Gordon King elected as president of the committee for the coming year.

The non-fundraising, non-political and non-sectarian group promotes an environment of fun and fellowship, fostering friendships through a wide range of activities for retired and semi-retired people.

The Combined Probus Club of Queenscliffe describes itself as a vibrant, mixed-gender group for people living in Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale and surrounding areas.

Its activities include regular meetings, lunches, dinners, including walking, craft and movie mornings.

The club meets on the first Monday of each month at the Point Lonsdale Bowls Club at 9.45am. New members are welcome.
