MOTHER Nature produced the goods for a rocking concert by the John Butler Trio at Leura Park Estate at the weekend.

One of Australia’s most recognised and accomplished roots rock bands, the John Butler Trio performed an ultimate afternoon of tunes and chill among the vines on Saturday.

They were joined by New South Wales’ Kim Churchill, divine duo Mama Kin Spender and Samsurah.

Thousands enjoyed the sunshine in what was a second take for the event – rescheduled after dangerous wind caused havoc on March 18.

Organiser Lyndsay Sharp said she was thrilled with how the event panned out and that the feedback had been great.

“Mother Nature turned it on and so did the fantastic line-up of artists – Samsurah, Mama Kin Spender, Kim Churchill and John Butler Trio,” she said.

“It was a privilege to host such talent here at Leura Park Estate and the crowd were captivated.

“Thanks to the professionalism, enthusiasm and effort by a lot of great people, it was hopefully a top night to remember for all those who attended.”

Mellani Harris said, “Loved it! Great venue and organised so well”, while Julie-Anne Salter said, “Thank you Leura Park. Absolutely fantastic night. Hats off to your management, your team and your staff that put the event together. Last night was one of the best organised events I’ve been to”.
