Winter festival to glow again at Adventure Park

ONE of Geelong’s top winter festivals returns to Bellarine Peninsula for its fifth edition later this month.

Adventure Park’s Winter Glow promises to bring snow, lights, fire, ice and theme park rides all together in a fun and immersive family festival.

Featuring the biggest snow play zone outside of the ski resorts, visitors are invited to experience the magic of the snow right here on the Bellarine.

Complimenting the frosty snow will be a dazzling 2km accessible light trail with more than 3.3 million glittering lights, two spectacular fire-twirling shows, ice sculpting displays, eight awesome theme park rides, face painting and more.

“We’re so excited to bring Winter Glow back for its fifth year” Adventure Park managing director Leanne Salmon said.

“We love bringing fun to winter and creating that warm festival atmosphere where visitors get a 360 degree event experience, which is totally different to our summer operations.”

There will be plenty of delicious food and beverage options on hand for visitors to warm up with.

Indulge in wintery sweet treats, including loaded hot chocolates, hot pretzels, chocolate covered churros and giant fairy floss.

Special treats for adults will include spiked hot chocolate’s, mulled wine and beer.

There will also be seven venues on hand offering favourites including burgers, dish and chips, bao buns, pizza and more.

Winter Glow runs at Adventure Park in Wallington from June 28 to August 9.
