Cruise the bay with half price ferry adventures

May 23, 2019 BY

Port Phillip Ferries don’t stop for winter, and why should you.

They love to see people take an adventure to the big smoke, and this offer makes that even more tempting as winter kicks off.

“Seas the day” and jump aboard with half-price travel for seniors every Tuesday and Wednesday over June.

An easy cruise across the bay and direct to Melbourne, there’s no excuse to stay home.

With the wonderful city of Melbourne on our doorstep, there are a heap of reasons to head over. There are so many great shows, sporting events and wonderful places to eat.

Hop aboard the vessel and enjoy a coffee on the way over and a wine on the way home. The ferry provides a fabulous vantage point to enjoy the sights and sounds of the bay, and the first whale sightings have already been recorded.

The comfortable ferry has 400 seats providing two levels to select from. Be sure to step onto the back deck for some fresh air and vitamin sea along the journey as well.

Port Phillip Ferries welcome groups of all sizes and it’s been very popular with Probus groups, sporting clubs and lifestyle clubs.

As you hop off the ferry you are also situated very close to the free CBD tram network, you won’t even need a Myki card.

You can buy your ferry tickets online to guarantee your spot but if you make a last-minute decision, or can’t get to a computer you can buy tickets on board or via the Portarlington Post Office.

Make sure you say “g’day” to the friendly crew who are always there to assist if you have any questions or feel like a chat.

Port Phillip Ferries operates 365 days a year with three return trips a day. Head to their website at portphillipferries.com.au to check out the scheduled times.

Get on board and happy sailing!
