ON WEDNESDAY October 18, the men played Par. The A Grade winner was Barry Coleman with +2 on a countback from runner up Ian Treloar who also finished +2. The B Grade winner was John Prince with a great score of +6 while Colin Jarratt finished runner up with +3. David Griffiths won C Grade with +4 on a countback from John Smith also on +4. Ball rundown to +1 on countback. NTPs: 3rd David Cook, 6th Barry Coleman, 13th John Prince & 16th (Jackpot)Sheamus Sushames.

On Thursday, October 19 the women played Par with the winner being Biddy Tuohey with -1, while Robyn Schepers finished runner up with -2. Ball rundown to -2 on a Countback. NTPs: 3rd Biddy Tuohey, 13th Ann Stokes, 16th Biddy Tuohey. Here’s hoping for finer weather this week!

Par was played by the men and women on Saturday, October 21. The men’s A Grade winner was Sam Horne with the day’s best score of +6. Chris Duffield finished runner up with his score of +2. The B Grade winner was Wayne McIntyre with +4 from runner up Keith Turner who had +3. Con Keet won C Grade with +5 from runner up Geoff Dean +3. Ball rundown to +1 on countback.

Women’s Winner Deg Hume +1. NTPs: 3rd Chris Duffield, 6th Mark Couzens, 13th Sam Elliott and Jackpot 16th David Elam.

The 63rd annual tournament started on Sunday, October 22 with the Mixed Pinehurst sponsored by the Aged Care Services Australia Group. The best gross of the day prize was won by David Lewis and Claire Brennan with 76. The Nett event winners were Scott Downey and Jenny Downey with their nett score of 70 1/8. Wayne Pipe and Noelene Dumbrell finished Nett Runners up with their score of 71 1/8 while Tony Speed and Liz McConchie finished Third with their nett score of 71 ¼. Men’s NTPs: 3rd Stuart Rolle, 6th Hayden Smith, 13th Wayne Pipe 16th David McLaren. Women’s NTPs: 3rd Margot Smith, 6th Liz McConchie, 13th Rachel Kane, 16th Julie Walker. Golf Balls down the line to a score of 76 6/8.
