Saturday Pennant
Saturday Pennant was cancelled last week for the Australia Day public holiday on January 26.

Mid Week Pennant
Round 14 of Midweek Pennant saw only three divisions play, some games were cancelled due to the extreme heat.

Division One was cancelled this week due to heat

Division Two had a 21 shot victory over Geelong at home. Wendy Sanderson’s rink having an 11 shot win.

Division Five played away to Ocean Grove and had a very impressive 26 shot win.

Division Six played at home and unfortunately lost by three shots in a very tight match against Ocean Grove.

2019 Club Champions
The 2019 Club Champion Singles have been completed for another year with two fantastic finals. The men’s singles final was between Gary Banks and Geoff Grigg, with Gary coming out on top. The women’s singles final was between Elaine Rosser and Karen Harrington, with Karen winning her way to Club Champion.

This is Karen’s fifth Club Championship win and Gary’s third Championship win. The club is very proud of all four bowlers

WHAT’S ON
Wine Tasting by Angove Family Winemakers

The Birds of a Feather Team have organised a fundraiser to support Relay for Life.

It takes the form of a wine tasting evening with all wine sponsored by Angove Family Winemakers in conjunction with Corkscrew Cellars. The event will be held on Tuesday February 19.

Commencing at 5.30pm for approximately three hours, participants will be able to taste over 10 of the delicious wines from the Angove range. Complimentary platters of finger food will be provided.

This will be a great evening complete with door prizes and raffles!

All monies raised on the night will be donated to Relay for Life.
