The 2018 Great Ocean Road Running Festival will be held from May 19-20, with early bird ticket sales ending February 20.

THE 14th edition of the Great Ocean Road Running Festival will take place May 19-20, with the event offering one of the most spectacular marathons in the world.

Early bird tickets are set to close Tuesday February 20 at 9pm for Australia’s most scenic running event.

The course stretches along the coastal towns from Lorne to Apollo Bay and runners of all distances can soak up some of Australia’s most scenic beaches and breathtaking views during the annual two-day running festival.

More than 7,000 participants of all ages and abilities are expected to run or walk one of seven event distances ranging from the 1.5-kilometre Kids’ Gallop to the 60-kilometre Ultra Marathon.

Registration also gives participants free access to a range of activities across the weekend such as a kite festival, movie screenings, live-music and yoga sessions so everyone can enjoy the festivities.
