Australia Day events in the Bendigo region

MAIDEN GULLY AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 7am-10am at Maiden Gully Recreation Centre. Official ceremony at 8.30am. Barbecue breakfast, entertainment, junior citizenship awards and a keynote speech. 

STRATHFIELDSAYE AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 8am-9.45am at the Strathfieldsaye Shopping Centre carpark. Official ceremony at 8.40am. Barbecue breakfast and music.  

AUSTRALIA DAY FLAG RAISING AND BREAKFAST. 8am-9.30am at Junortoun Fire Brigade. Flag raising ceremony starts at 8.15am. 

AXEDALE AUSTRALIA DAY BREAKFAST. 8am-10am at Axedale Park. 9am official ceremony. Barbecue breakfast and music included. 

MIA MIA AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 8am-11am at Mia Mia Mechanics Institute. Official ceremony at 8.20am. 

ROTARY CLUB OF EAGLEHAWK AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 8.30-10.30am at Canterbury Park.  Official ceremony at 9.30am includes Eaglehawk Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year presentations. 

ELMORE AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 8.30am-10am at Elmore Recreation Centre. Official ceremony at 8.45am. A barbecue breakfast, keynote speech, and music. 

ROTARY CLUB OF BENDIGO SANDHURST AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 10am-3pm at Lake Weeroona. Official ceremony at 10.30am including the City of Greater Bendigo Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year presentations awarded by mayor Andrea Metcalf. 

HEATHCOTE RSL SUB-BRANCH AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS. 10am-2pm at Barrack Reserve. Refreshments and a sausage sizzle offered, and the event is alcohol and smoke free. 

HUNTLY AUSTRALIA DAY CELEBRATIONS, 6.30pm-8.30pm at Huntly Hall. Official ceremony at 7.30pm. Barbecue dinner and music.
