EAGLEHAWK enterprises are invited to attend a gala night to celebrate all businesses in the Borough.

Organised by Be.Bendigo and convened by Empowering Eaglehawk, the special dinner is designed for businesses to connect with the local community enterprise and their partners.

“Eaglehawk’s a growing business suburb as well so we want to entice those businesses to come along, share their story, and talk with businesses partners to see how they’re going,” Empowering Eaglehawk president Mitchell Graham said.

“Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco are partners with us so we’re trying to entice our businesses to connect with them, connect with Be.Bendigo and also connect with us.”

Empowering Eaglehawk offers grants for local groups and projects through Bendigo Bank and Bendigo Telco, with customers able to opt into a portion of their bill going to the enterprise.

“It’s the community that will benefit more than anything in this inaugural gala event,” Mr Graham said.

With businesses growing in Eaglehawk, and able to partner with Be.Bendigo and Empowering Eaglehawk, Mr Graham said new enterprises can now benefit from the existing partnerships.

“It’s about smaller businesses getting connectivity between all businesses,” he said.

“That’s where we come in, that’s were Be.Bendigo comes in, we can tell them what we’ve been able to do and show them the way of doing business in Eaglehawk.”

The gala night will be held on Wednesday, 8 June at the Eaglehawk Football Netball Club social rooms.
