AFL Central Victoria has signed a three-year deal with one of Australia’s largest sport clothing and equipment distributors, TLA.

The company has been the official distributor of German sportswear brand Puma since 2017 and iconic football maker Sherrin since 2020.

Since acquiring the rights to the brands, a number of community netball and football teams in Victoria have donned their logos.

AFL Central Victoria’s commercial manager Tom King said the new partnership would be a “game-changer for the organisation.”

“It opens doors for clubs in Central Victoria to be associated with one of the most recognisable and trusted sports brands in the world,” he said.

“We are excited to see how the partnership will positively impact our local clubs, players, and supporters.”

TLA merchandise general manager Jason Jacoby said the company was proud to associate themselves with AFL Central Victoria.

“We believe that both Puma and Sherrin provide Central Victorian clubs with performance and quality apparel, while also helping to establish a sustainable future for AFL Central Victoria,” he said.

“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to the growth and development of sports at every level.”

The two groups are now in talks about how to get local AFL clubs interested in the gear, with plans in the works to stop by and showcase products at the clubs.
