Cats star doubt for Round 1
GEELONG star Mitch Duncan is reportedly in doubt for round one, struggling to overcome a calf injury.
AFL Media’s Mitch Cleary reported that the midfielder is expected to sit out both of the club’s pre-season games.
Duncan strained the calf earlier in February, the second time he has had the setback this pre-season.
Luke Dahlhaus is in a similar boat with a groin injury that has lingered across the pre-season.
In better news for the Cats, key forward Jeremy Cameron confirmed to SEN Breakfast that he was set to return to the main training group.
Cameron suffered a hamstring strain earlier in the year.
Tom Stewart will also return to full training after quad tightness.
