Screamfeeder

They are a band of eternally youthful fuzz-pop darlings who have continued to play together for 30 years and have somehow not only gotten better, but become even more loved. They combine loud with beautiful, intense with joyous, and chaotic with precise, pulling it all together in a way that very few acts ever manage. Come and enjoy Screamfeeder at Murwillumbah’s M-Arts Precinct. For tickets, visit Humanitix

Sunburn: Gerwyn Davies

3 July – 22 November

Sunburn: Gerwyn Davies is showing at the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre. This exhibition brings together vibrant new textile and photographic works that reimagine the ephemera, icons and imagery of Australia’s Sunrise Strip. Drawing partly on the Tweed Regional Museum Collection, postcards, souvenirs and signage are transformed into sequins and spandex. Costumed figures dissolve beneath sculptural forms in photographic worlds evoking the landscape of coastal Australiana. Sunburn is a love letter to Tweed and the borderlands, celebrating the lurid, the leisurely and the lowbrow. For more information, visit gallery.tweed.nsw.gov.au
