Chance to learn about the latest technology at future-ready business roadshow

NORTHERN Rivers business owners will be able to learn how artificial intelligence and emerging technology are being used in day-to-day operations through a free regional roadshow starting next week.
The Building Future-Ready Businesses roadshow will run across Lismore, Ballina and Tweed Heads, targeting local manufacturers and small to medium enterprises.
The series is supported by Regional Development Australia Northern Rivers and focuses on practical ways businesses can respond to digital change and shifting market conditions.
The roadshow begins in Lismore at the Gordon Pavilion at Oakes Oval on Tuesday, March 3, before moving to Ballina Surf Life Saving Club on Wednesday and the Tweed Heads Civic and Cultural Centre on Thursday.
Sessions will cover topics including digital transformation, artificial intelligence adoption, energy transition, supply chain opportunities and innovation support.
An event spokesperson said the sessions were designed to be practical and focused on real-world application.
“The initiative is designed to help local manufacturers and small to medium enterprises better understand how new technologies can be applied in their businesses,” the spokesperson said.
The sessions are aimed at business owners and management teams and will include opportunities for discussion and collaboration.
The roadshow is presented in collaboration with AusIndustry, NBN Co, the Industry Capability Network, Essential Energy and Northern Rivers Tech.
Attendance is free, with additional sessions scheduled in Casino and Grafton.
