A NEW Lunch and Learn series by the Northern Rivers Community Foundation (NRCF) is building capacity in support of the people who power the region’s not-for-profit sector.
The inaugural pilot workshop, ‘Marketing with Intention’, is led by marketing strategist and mentor Tyneal Alexander from Ritual Consulting.
With over 15 years of experience, Alexander leads practical and supportive sessions that aim to help participants bring structure, purpose and confidence to their marketing efforts, even when resources are limited.
“These casual workshops bring together local staff, board members and volunteers,” an NRCF spokesperson said.
“Participants develop practical skills, share ideas, and strengthen collaboration across the sector.
“Each session will feature presentations from experienced professionals and community leaders. They will share tools and insights you can apply straight away to your work.”
Alexander’s presentation focuses on building a meaningful brand, potentially with international reach, and explores how to understand the audience and effectively reach them.
“Marketing can become just another task, something reactive instead of intentional,” the spokesperson said.
“You’ll learn how to craft messages that connect and use your owned channels with purpose – even when resources are limited.”
An informal networking lunch will follow the workshop, providing an opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and continue the conversation in a relaxed setting.
The event will take place at ACE Community College in Lismore on Friday, November 28, from 10 am to 12 pm.
Spaces are limited and early booking is advised. For information, visit events.humanitix.com/marketing-with-intention-workshop
