Promoter

The promoter is Times News Group, whose registered office is 95 Beach Road, Torquay, VIC 3228.

Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, except employees of Times News Group, their immediate family members, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary. However, by entering, entrants agree to be subscribed to the local newspaper’s email list.

Agreement to Terms

By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

How to Enter

Entry details and routes are provided on Times News Group platforms.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.

Competition Period

The competition commences at 6pm AEDT, Monday 20 January 2025 and closes at 11:59am AEDT, Tuesday 28 January 2025.
No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

Entry Requirements

Entrants must subscribe to one of the local newspapers published by Times News Group, unless the competition is run exclusively on social media, in which case entry details will be provided on the relevant platform.
Times News Group is not responsible for any entries not received due to technical issues or other reasons beyond its control.

Privacy

All personal information collected will be used in accordance with Times News Group’s Privacy Policy and for the purpose of administering this competition, unless opt-ins are selected.

Weekend Plans fuelled by APCO – Terms & Conditions

1. 1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions.
   2. Entry is open to residents of the Geelong, Surf Coast, Bellarine, Moorabool and Ballarat regions, and entry is deemed as acknowledgement and acceptance of Conditions of Entry. 
   3. Times News Group and APCO Service Stations Pty Ltd, employees and their immediate families and any agencies associated with this promotion are excluded from entry.
   4. The Promotion commences at 6pm AEST on Sunday 17th August 2025 and closes at 11.59pm

   AEST on Sunday 14th September 2025 (‘Promotion Period’).

   Prize:

   • $200 Apco Gift Card

   Note:
   There are 5 Gift Cards available, Note the distribution of cards below.

   Prize Terms:

   – Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.

   – Gift cards can be used for Fuel, Coffee, Food & Anderson’s Supermarket

   The Competition:

   1. During the Promotion Period entrants can enter by heading to the Times News Group ‘Weekend Plans fuelled by APCO’ entry form online. By entering the competition and opting in, you agree to receive marketing and promotional information from Times News Group.
   2. All entrants who have signed up during the promotion period will be in the running.

   The winner will be drawn via random selection on Monday 15th September at approx 12:30pm AEST. There will be one winner only drawn from all sign ups.

   3. To gain an extra shot at winning a $200 APCO Gift card, the audience can enter via the Facebook Competition Posts throughout the competition. All entrants via the Facebook competition posts will be required for follow either Bellarine Times, Surf Coast Times or Geelong Times to be eligible.
   4. The Facebook competition video posts will outline when it’s specific winner will be drawn.
   5. There will be one winner drawn across Bellarine Times, Surf Coast Times and Geelong Times per competition video post. 
   6. The winners will be contacted via DM and asked to email Times News Group to redeem their prize.
   4. Should the winner not adhere to competition conditions, a redraw will take place.

   2. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize.
   3. All information collected will be kept for administrative purposes only, unless opt-in’s selected.
   4. Times News Group reserves the right to request winners provide proof of identity.

   verification is at the discretion of the promoter.

   6.. The use of false name, address or date of birth i.e. name by which the entrant is not usually known

   will disqualify them from receiving the prize.

   7. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of

   their personnel (the “Relevant Parties”) exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim,

   injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the

   Promotion, including: (i) any indirect, economic or consequential loss; (ii) any loss arising from the

   negligence of a Relevant Party; (iii) any liability for personal injury or death.

   8. Notwithstanding any other condition of these specific competition rules, Times News Group reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time and for any reason whatsoever.
   9. Acceptance of the prize is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
