Promoter

The promoter is Times News Group, whose registered office is at 95 Beach Road, Torquay, VIC 3228.

Eligibility

  • The competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, except employees of Times News Group, their immediate family members, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  • Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary. However, by entering, entrants agree to be subscribed to the local newspaper’s email list.

Agreement to Terms

By entering this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

How to Enter

  • Entry details and routes are provided on Times News Group platforms.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.

Competition Period

  • The competition commences at 6pm AEDT, Monday 20th January 2025 and closes at 11:59am AEDT, Tuesday 28th January 2025.
  • No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

Entry Requirements

  • Entrants must subscribe to one of the local newspapers published by Times News Group unless the competition is run exclusively on social media, in which case entry details will be provided on the relevant platform.
  • Times News Group is not responsible for any entries not received due to technical issues or other reasons beyond its control.

For The First Time at Mt Duneed – Terms & Conditions

General Information

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast, and Bellarine regions. Entry is deemed as acknowledgment and acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  3. Employees of Times News Group, Roundhouse Entertainment, and their immediate families, as well as agencies associated with this promotion, are excluded from entry.

Prize Details

  • Prize: Double pass to The Script concert on Saturday 1st February 2025 at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong.
  • Prizes Available: 5 prizes.
  • Prize Terms:
    • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be allocated to another person.
    • Entrants must be over the age of 18 to be eligible.

How to Enter

  1. During the Promotion Period, entrants can enter by completing the entry form in the Times News Group win section.
  2. By entering and opting in, entrants agree to receive marketing and promotional information from the Promoters.
  3. There will be one winner for Bellarine Times and two winners each for Geelong Times and Surf Coast Times.
  4. Winners will be drawn on Tuesday 28th January 2025 at approximately 12:30pm AEDT.
  5. Winners will be announced online via designated posts.
  6. If winners do not adhere to competition conditions, a redraw will take place.

Winner Selection and Notification

  • Winners will be selected at random using software for online entries or specialised random selection tools for social media entries.
  • Winners will be notified by email or through the social media platform used for entry within three (3) days of the competition closing date.
  • If the winner does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, Times News Group reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Prize Collection

Details on how and where the prize can be collected or delivered will be provided to the winner.

General Terms & Conditions

  1. Times News Group’s decisions regarding all aspects of the competition, including eligibility and prize allocation, are final.
  2. No responsibility is accepted for variations in prize value.
  3. Information collected will be used for administrative purposes unless entrants opt-in to marketing communications.
  4. Times News Group reserves the right to request proof of identity and residency.
  5. Verification of identification is at the discretion of the promoter.

  7. The use of a false name, address, or date of birth will disqualify entrants.
  8. The Promoter and associated parties are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred by participants.
  9. Times News Group reserves the right to withdraw the competition at any time.
  10. Acceptance of the prize constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Data Protection

  • Winners agree to the use of their name and image in promotional materials.
  • Personal data provided by entrants will only be used in accordance with Australian privacy laws and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Liability

Times News Group is not responsible for inaccurate prize details provided by third parties.
