The Arts program includes the annual School Concert held on the beautiful stage of the historic Queenscliff Town Hall.

St Aloysius Primary School is blessed to be able to get access to such a dynamic and unique set of learning opportunities through the local community connections the school has fostered.

Visual/Performing Arts and STEAM teachers Jo Britt and Emma Martison have been leading some great initiatives with Landcare Victoria, Bellarine Catchment Network and Deakin University to give pupils real life experiences in caring for and creating indigenous habitats for our local bird and sea life in Swan Bay and the Great Southern Reef in Port Phillip.

Through their regular Outdoor Learning Program they have built the knowledge
of the local wildlife habitats and environment and are seeking to replicate it in their school grounds.

Pupils from St Aloysius have also created great connections with local artists and galleries that have influenced their classroom practice.

Through their regular visits to the Seaview and Salt Galleries in Queenscliff and their regional partnership with Geelong Art Gallery, their pupils have forged relationships with local artists and created some award winning work in the process.

The Arts program also extends to their annual School Concert that is held on the beautiful stage of the historic Queenscliff Town Hall.

The productions include acting, dancing, singing and backstage co-ordination, a fabulous opportunity to showcase the talents of everyone.

Anzac Day saw St Aloysius students write and present their own speeches on what ANZAC means to them at historic Fort Queenscliff as part of the community March and Ceremony.
