Dress in your best boardshorts at Hoop Gallery event
HOOP Gallery is thrilled to announce its coming event, The Boardshort Ball, to both commemorate its highly successful first year and put the fun back into fundraising.
The team at Hoop promises an unforgettable night that celebrates Torquay’s vibrant creative community.
Hoop Gallery president Sally Groom is hoping the whole community comes out to celebrate with them.
“We’ve planned a great evening filled with entertainment and camaraderie to brighten everyone’s winter with a splash of summer,” she said.
Music will be provided by DJ Kofi and guests will also be delighted by a performance by the Surf Coast Roller Skaters that has been especially choreographed for the night.
“As for the dress code, we encourage attendees to showcase their creativity by donning their best formal attire inspired by 1980s boardshort fashion,” Ms Groom said.
“Break out your best fluro and join us under the mirror ball.”
Hoop Gallery is an art space dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the talent of Torquay’s artistic community.
