A day for the community: what to expect at Nyaal Banyul’s open day
Nyaal Banyul will open its doors to the community on Saturday 11 July, with a day of entertainment, local flavours and behind-the-scenes access to the landmark waterfront venue.
AS excitement builds ahead of the Nyaal Banyul community open day on Saturday 11 July, Geelong locals are being encouraged to bring the family along and experience a full day of entertainment, activities and community celebration on the waterfront.
From 10am–4pm, visitors are invited to explore the new venue through self-guided tours while enjoying live entertainment, local food and drinks and free activities designed for all ages during the school holidays.
Face painting, kids activities and family-friendly entertainment will create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day, giving locals the opportunity to experience the venue in a fun and accessible way.
Located on Geelong’s stunning waterfront, Nyaal Banyul has been designed as a place for people to gather – whether for major events, performances, celebrations or community experiences.
The community open day is a chance for locals to explore the space first-hand.
Throughout the day, there will be a strong focus on showcasing local businesses, suppliers and producers from across the region.
Visitors can enjoy local food and beverage offerings while learning more about how the venue will continue supporting Geelong and Bellarine businesses into the future.
Guests attending can also enter a giveaway to win one of five hampers filled with products from local makers and suppliers.
