Bellarine Football Netball League (BFNL) grand finals will be played at Grinter Reserve, Newcomb for the next two years.
AFL Barwon confirmed on Thursday that Newcomb would once again host the league’s season deciders, with the venue securing grand final hosting rights for 2026 and 2027.
Portarlington Recreation Reserve will host the opening weeks of the finals series before teams move to Grinter Reserve for the preliminary finals and grand finals.
Newcomb Power president Matt Farrow said the club was proud to have been awarded hosting rights for the next two years.
“Being centrally located for all clubs and with the capacity to host significant crowds, we believe it provides a great option for the BFNL,” Farrow said.
“This decision will also allow us to work with council and state stakeholders on potential small upgrades to further support the delivery of a fantastic event for our league.”
AFL Barwon also confirmed Lara Recreation Reserve would host the junior and senior women’s football grand finals on Saturday 30 August, following the venue’s success in staging the matches in previous years.
Junior male grand finals will be played the following weekend at Herne Hill Reserve, hosted by St Joseph’s Football Netball Club.
Venues for the opening weeks of the finals series will be announced at a later date.
The BFNL finals series begins on 29 August, with the grand finals to be played on Saturday 19 September.
