ALL furry friends and their humans will have the chance to get their photos taken with Santa across the City of Greater Geelong this festive season.

Santa will be visiting multiple locations over the next month including the Portarlington Foreshore, Lara Swimming Pool, Cobbin Farm in Grovedale and the Geelong Botanic Gardens.

Attendees should make sure their pet can be restrained and are advised to bring a camera or phone to snap their memorable photos with Santa.

Geelong mayor Trent Sullivan said people had brought all sort of animals to have photos with Santa in the past.

“Last year, we saw hundreds of dogs, some cats, a goat, a lizard, snake, a ferret and a dingo.

“It’s entirely free and no bookings are required.

“Each person gets a couple of minutes to get their special pet photo with Santa.”

The Santa Pet photos are just one of many festive offerings across the Greater Geelong region, joining the likes of the Floating Christmas Tree, School Christmas Trees, Festive Street entertainment, Santa’s Letterbox, a Giant Christmas Selfie Trail, Christmas masterclasses and more.
