More than $100,000 will be invested in creating a fairer Geelong community thanks to the success of the Give Where You Live Foundation e&s Golf Classic.
A sell-out draw of golfers from 32 local businesses teed off at the Curlewis Golf Club last week for the event’s 34th edition.

The classic saw golfers enjoy a range of activities, including the opportunity to win a Rex Gorell Skoda at the hole in one competition, and complimentary on-course haircuts by The Wandering Barber.
The luncheon was hosted by Masterchef alumnus Simon Toohey and featured live entertainment from musician Saxon Drummond.

Led by Whitford Real Estate’s Peter Fort, a live fundraising auction saw some enthusiastic bidding and important funds raised for the foundation.
Give Where You Live Foundation chief executive Zac Lewis said the funds raised will focus on food security, homelessness assistance and inclusive employment across the Geelong region.
“We’re seeing more and more people in Geelong facing unemployment, homelessness and struggling to put food on the table, and this support will create real change in our community,” he said.
“It was wonderful to take part in the 34th e&s Golf Classic and witness yet again, the generosity of the Geelong business community.”
