GEELONG High School are hosting an alumni open day this weekend thanks to their Alumni Association, to showcase the campus’ new renovations and celebrate the launch of a new book outlining the school’s history.
The school will be open during the afternoon on Saturday, October 18th, with all alumni welcome to attend.
While the open day will be informal, the school will run guided tours of the campus to give past students a chance to look at the mass renovations that were completed last year.
The recent redevelopment includes modernised facilities, classroom extensions and overall refurbishments across the campus which has created a vibrant and contemporary learning environment for current students.
The Geelong High Alumni Association have also recently made a limited-edition book outlining the school’s proud 115-year history. A free raffle will be held, giving one lucky winner the chance to take a copy of the book home.
The event will run from 2pm to 4pm, with all available alumni encouraged to come along, reconnect with old classmates and see how much Geelong High has changed since they attended the school. Afternoon tea will also be provided.
