Kumon opens new Charlemont home
AN AFTER-school learning centre in southern Geelong has relocated to a new venue.
The Kumon Armstrong Creek Education Centre has opened the doors of its new home in Charlemont and renamed itself to Kumon Charlemont.
The centre will continue to be led by experienced instructor Devani Naik, who has successfully operated Kumon Point Cook for 18 years.
Naik brings extensive experience and a passion for nurturing students’ confidence in mathematics and reading.
“I am passionate about the Kumon Method and love that I can help children become confident learners,” she said.
Kumon says its relocation into a commercial space signals the company’s commitment to becoming a hub for strong maths and reading skills, benefiting local schools and families in Charlemont and the greater Geelong region.
“With more space and improved facilities, Kumon Charlemont will offer expanded class days and times, special workshops and events, and better accommodation for students with varying schedules,” Naik said.
Kumon Charlemont is at Charlemont Rise Shopping Centre, 21/83-93 Precinct Road, Charlemont, Classes operate on Wednesday afternoons from 3pm to 6.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
