Geelong’s newest indoor trampoline and adventure centre has opened its doors in Newcomb, drawing more than 1,000 visitors in its first few days of trade.
Flip Out Geelong, part of a national chain that operates about 25 venues across Australia, has launched at 138-140 Bellarine Highway.
The more than 2,000sqm facility features trampoline zones, ninja courses, climbing walls and a high ropes circuit, adding a large-scale indoor play option to the city’s east.
Owner Adam Missen said the early response had exceeded expectations.

“We’ve had lots of happy kids, lots of people running around getting sweaty.
“Our motto is ‘Never stop creating fun’, and that’s what we try to do every day.”
The venue includes dedicated junior trampoline areas, a three-storey soft play structure, a two-storey ninja course with flying fox and drop slide, nine climbing walls, a sports court and arcade games.
Missen said the business had a strong focus on making the space accessible to children of all abilities and confidence levels.
“We want them to come and have a really great time,” he said.
“Some kids are more adventurous than others. Some kids will come and they’ll try everything. And then other kids will come for the first time, and they’ll only try a little bit.

“We hope that we can help encourage them in the right way so that they challenge themselves and have a bit of fun in a really safe environment.”
The Geelong site is the first in the country to open with Flip Out’s updated layout, including a redesigned ninja course and LED-lit arena.
It is also one of just two locations to offer a high ropes course.
“They’re unique in the fact that you don’t have to wear a harness,” Missen said.
“You can climb around and if you make a mistake, you’re able to climb back on and keep going. It gives you that surreal sense of being at height.”

New for the brand, Flip Out Geelong will also host after dark sessions each Friday night.
“We can turn the lights down, the music up and people can bounce, run, jump, soar all the way through under disco lights,” Missen said.
The centre operates daily.
