Surf Coast Home Doctor is excited to announce that they will soon become Heroes Home Doctor.

Practice Manager, Kylie Harrington assures us that Heroes Home Doctor is still owned by Dr. Caroline Taylor-Walker and includes the same great team you know and trust and with Dr. Natasha Nogueira and Dr. Caroline providing the same comprehensive care.

Heroes Home Doctor is the first accredited home visiting GP clinic in Australia. Often misunderstood as an afterhours or emergency service, however that’s not the case. They can be your families regular GP as well as be there for you in urgent situations.

“I love being part of the family and helping those when most required. We feel that our service allows us to have a better doctor-patient relationship than if we worked in a surgery” Dr. Caroline said.

Until recently they solely offered home visits, however with the COVID-19 crisis they quickly restructured and have made the move to offer Bulk Billed Telehealth appointments during the pandemic followed by a bulk billed Home Visit if required. Dr. Caroline said that it’s been amazing how receptive patients have been to Telehealth and how successful the transition has been.

‘We can’t wait to be back offering home visits, but we are fortunate to be able to still help our patients during this tough time. For both COVID-19 related issues and regular GP issues. Just because we are in a pandemic, doesn’t mean people should ignore their health because it’s not Coronavirus related” Dr. Caroline said.

Keep an eye out for the launch of the new name, Heroes Home Doctor in the next few weeks.
