Playing times released for QMF

THE organisers of the Queenscliff Music Festival have gone live with the playing times for their 25th anniversary music and arts extravaganza.

The annual festival will welcome both local and international musicians and entertainers to the lands of the Wadawurrung on the Bellarine Peninsula on the last weekend of November.

Entertainment will take place at more than 10 different locations, including three main stages within the festival’s beach setting.

The music will begin on the evening of Thursday, November 23 with The Badloves, Frank Sultana Blues Band and Tin Stars playing at The Queenscliff Brewhouse.

Over at the Queenscliff Town Hall, Leah Senior will be serenading crowds with her folk tunes, while the Uniting Church and Vue Grand will play host to Assynt and JAZZPARTY respectively.

Heading into Friday, November 24, locals can expect to hear from The Dreggs, Illy, Something for Kate, Alice Ivy and Chook & Molluck.

 

Super Saturday on November 25 will feature a jam-packed smorgasbord of local and international talent, with global grammy award nominated hitmaker Aloe Blacc topping the list.

G Love & Special Sauce, Ian Moss, resident DJ Vince Peach, Georgia State Line and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls are also slated to feature.

The four-day festival will be rounded out by Australian rocker Dan Sultan, sweethearts Boy and Bear, Burger Joint and The Slingers on Sunday, November 26.

 

Queenscliff Music Festival will also feature Auslan Interpreted shows across its main stages on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Interpreters will be provided by Auslan Stage Left.
