CHRYSLERS By the Bay will celebrate its 30th anniversary this weekend, with organisers determined to make the milestone event one to remember.
The charity car show, to be held on 8 March, returns to Geelong Baptist College where more than 250 vehicles are expected to go on display.

The lineup will feature vintage Valiants, Dodges and Plymouths, alongside muscle cars from the 1960s and 70s. Iconic models including the Challenger, Stingray and Charger are also set to draw plenty of attention.
Chairman of the event committee, Colin Hacking, said the team was looking forward to marking three decades of the event in style.
“To hit the 30-year milestone is pretty huge,” he said. “We just want it to be a really good display of cars.
“A good happy crowd of a couple of hundred people would be an exceptional result.”

This year’s event will raise funds for Geelong-based organisation Wheel 4 MND, supporting research into a cure for motor neurone disease in memory of one of the charity’s founders.
A range of local vendors will also be on site, with music and entertainment planned throughout the day.
Gates open to the public from 8.30am. Trophy presentations will begin at 1pm and conclude around 1.30pm.
