25 years of partnership for Lara United
LARA United and local land developer Bisinella Developments have celebrated 25 years of sponsorship together, benefiting the Lara community through the game of football.
In an announcement earlier this month, Bisinella praised the local club for its welcoming atmosphere, teamwork-first agenda, resilience, and sportsmanship, while providing an enjoyable environment for more than 400 members.
Lara United President Paul Grzybek emphasised the benefit the club has observed with Bisinella Developments and thanked the Bisinella family for their support over the past quarter-century.
“Bisinella’s commitment to our club has been crucial to our growth and success,” Grzybek said.
“The Bisinella sponsorship has allowed our club to thrive, ensuring we can offer high-quality facilities and keep costs accessible for members, whilst enabling us to foster a strong community spirit and provide sporting opportunities for players of all ages.
“Bisinella’s continued investment in the club means more people in the Geelong region have access to team sports which will help encourage a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.”
Lara has a full program of opportunities for players heading into 2025, bolstered by junior, senior, and State League competition sides.
In 2024, the club celebrated some remarkable achievements, with several teams advancing to the finals and the State League Men’s team securing their first League title.
Bisinella Developments director Richard Bisinella noted the impact the partnership has had on both the club and the wider community.
“We are extremely proud to have contributed to Lara United Football Club’s evolution over the past 25 years,” Bisinella said.
“Sport is incredibly good for mental health and wellbeing, and we will continue supporting the club in the hope that people of all ages within the Geelong community are inspired to play football.”
