Trio of Cats earn AFLW All Australian nods
THREE Geelong Cats players have been recognised for their terrific season in the hoops and earned initial All-Australian squad selection.
Star midfielder Georgie Prespakis, forward Aishling Moloney and tough on-baller Mikayla Bowen are part of the 42 best players from the 2025 AFLW season.
Prespakis has been selected in the initial squad for the third time in the past four seasons.
She enjoyed another dominant season this year, finishing in the top five players in the league for total disposals, inside 50s, contested possessions and clearances.
Aishling Moloney has been selected in the All-Australian squad for a second consecutive season.
The honour follows another brilliant campaign from the superstar forward, who bagged 17 goals and sat sixth in the league for total score involvements and 12th for marks inside 50.
Bowen enjoyed a breakout season in the hoops and is searching for her first All-Australian blazer.
Playing various roles throughout the year, Bowen averaged career highs in disposals (21.6), tackles (6.7) and score involvements (4.3).
She also bagged six goals throughout the 2025 campaign.
The final team of 21 which includes a captain and a vice-captain will be announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 24.
