Eclectic line-up set for Nightjar Festival’s second night
Folktronica singer Gordi will take to the stage tomorrow night at the Torquay Common, helping celebrate another successful Nightjar Festival.
THE Nightjar Festival will to return to Torquay for a highly anticipated second night, with organisers promising an evening of live music, connection and a laid-back coastal atmosphere that has quickly become a Surf Coast favourite.
Following a strong opening night, night two is shaping up to deliver with performances from Wild Gloriosa, Jess Rubeiro, Sunedan, Sunshine, with the night to conclude with folktronica singer, Gordi. This eclectic line-up will bring something special to Torquay Common.
As the sun sets, the festival grounds will transform into a glowing hub of activity, with lighting installations, food trucks and bars creating a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike.
Nightjar is known for its relaxed layout and intimate scale. The festival offers an experience that feels both vibrant and accessible, appealing to seasoned music lovers and first-time attendees.
Let’s not forget all the amazing food truck options that make this festival a culinary delight. Everyone in the family will find their favourite. Plus, local distillers Blackman’s and Flowstate are back with their summer beers and cocktails to ensure everyone is well hydrated.

Organisers say night two will lean into the confident energy that builds once a festival finds its rhythm.
The night is expected to feel open, friendly and social, with space to dance under the Big Top, gather with friends for a picnic in the sun or simply wander the market stalls for great new finds.
Beyond the stages, Nightjar continues to emphasise community. The event encourages connection through shared spaces, local food offerings and an atmosphere that invites conversation as much as celebration. It’s this balance – between performance and place – that has helped Nightjar carve out a distinctive identity on the Surf Coast events calendar.
With Torquay providing the perfect coastal backdrop, night two is positioned as both a standout night of live music and a broader celebration of local culture.
Whether festival-goers are returning after night one or attending for the first time, the second night promises a rich, welcoming experience designed to be savoured rather than rushed.
