Golden exhibition to return

LOCAL artists are invited to submit an expression of interest for this year’s Golden Spaces winter exhibition.

The initiative aims to celebrate Golden Plains Shire creatives and includes art exhibitions at Bannockburn Cultural Centre, The Well at Smythesdale and the Golden Plains Civic Centre.

Golden Plains Shire mayor Cr Sarah Hayden encouraged artists to get involved with the initiative.

“Golden Spaces has been a resounding success since its launch in June,” she said.

“We’re excited to maintain this momentum with the first intake of EOIs for the 2025 exhibitions.

“I urge all local artists and creative practitioners to apply for this fantastic opportunity to showcase their work in a professional exhibition enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.”

Expressions of interest close Friday 28 February and can be made on the Golden Plains Shire website.

Successful artists will be notified in April, and the exhibition will be launched in June, rotating between the three locations.
