Driver dies in Meredith truck crash

Police are investigating a fatal truck crash that occurred in Meredith on Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to Slate Quarry Road about 8am following reports a truck had overturned.

Crews attempted to treat the driver at the scene, however the man could not be revived, he died at the scene.

Slate Quarry Road is expected to remain closed for some time while investigators examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.

WorkSafe has been notified of the incident.
