THIS summer school holidays, Golden Plains Shire will host a range of free activities for young people – and bookings are now open.

The program will run from Tuesday 13 January to Thursday 22 January.

Activities on offer include a MasterChef Mexican feast and games at Rokewood, a digital photography workshop at Bannockburn and Smythesdale, a pool party with a bus departing from Bannockburn, and a trip to Scienceworks with a bus departing from Bannockburn.

“Council’s summer holiday activity program offers a great range of activities for young people aged 12 to 15 years old, and the program itself is always very popular,” mayor Cr Owen Sharkey said.

“Tickets are limited, so we encourage anyone interested to see what’s available and secure a ticket as soon as possible.

“The holiday program is a great way for young people to socialise in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.”
