GLORIOUS sunshine and a coffee van greeted Eureka Cycling members and friends at Victoria Park on Sunday, 27 March.

Twelve riders contested Division 1, with Dayne Pearce applying a lot of pressure early before the race settled into a tactical affair with various riders trying to establish breaks.

Jason Hendry took out the mid race sprint, claiming Stu Brien right on the line.

That pair found themselves off the front near the end of the race and were joined by Tim Sinclair and Patrick Shaw in the race winning move yet is was who Hendry again proved too powerful in the sprint.

Division 2 fought out a field sprint after a controlled affair which saw all moves easily covered.  Darryn Reed besting Gavin Webber and Peter Canny at the line.

James Knipe took off on a solo mission early in the Division 3 race relegating his challengers to the minor placings.

Division 4 saw Simone de Morton pin on a number in her first ever race, however Geoff Edwards and Robert Young made it a two act affair and fought out the finish.
