DAYNE Pearce claimed victory in the 2022 Eureka Time Trial Championship race, with a masterfully controlled ride on Sunday, 3 April.

The tough 25-kilometre time trial – raced on a hilly circuit between Learmonth and Waubra – was made even harder by the fair south easterly breeze giving no reprieve to competitors as they fought the headwind on the return leg.

The Commodores Cup is staged in conjunction with the TT Championship race and every rider is given a secret handicap and the winner is the competitor with the best time.

Darryl Brown was proclaimed winner of the Commodores Cup at the presentation ceremony.
