IF weekends need a little more heat, colour and irresistible rhythm, The Wharf offers a lively Friday night escape on the Ballina waterfront.
Every Friday, the venue transforms into a vibrant celebration of Latin culture, where music, movement and flavour come together in an energetic evening atmosphere.
From 6pm to 11pm, a resident DJ sets the tone with a dynamic mix of salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and classic Latin beats.
Whether it is the smooth sway of a slower rhythm or the energy of a faster tempo, the dance floor comes alive in a welcoming, upbeat environment open to all levels of experience.

Salsa lessons run from 7.30pm to 8.30pm, led by an experienced instructor and designed for all abilities. Beginners are welcome to jump in, while experienced dancers can refine their technique and draw inspiration from the group.
The lesson also provides a relaxed way to meet others who share a love of music and movement.
The experience extends beyond the dance floor, with South American-inspired food specials available each week.

Featuring bold flavours and fresh ingredients, the dishes draw on the diverse cuisines of the region and are complemented by handcrafted cocktails.
Whether arriving with friends, a dance partner or simply an interest in trying something new, Latin Night at The Wharf offers a spirited Friday night experience that encourages connection, movement and celebration.
The Wharf also hosts Locals’ Night every Tuesday, offering a midweek dining option with weekly specials, including fish and chips and selected pizzas for $25, in a relaxed and friendly setting.
